My name is Hannah Robertso:, Force Media’s copywriter with years of writing experience. In this blog post, we will review the steps we took to get Golden Anchor Tattoo the exact results they were looking for.

Step 1: Learning Our Client’s Needs

Golden Anchor Tattoo’s owner, Theo Walker, first contacted our team to create a variety of video projects. He and his team had worked hard over the last six years to establish their brand as a top tattoo shop in Atlanta, Georgia and in the Southeast. He wanted to create a set of videos telling the story of each artist, their tattoo styles, and what makes them unique. 

After meeting with our team, we recommended that, in addition to individual artist spotlight videos, he create a brand video that shows Golden Anchor Tattoo as a company as well. This would allow potential customers to get an idea of what they can expect when receiving a tattoo. We also recommended taking the content we shot from each of those videos to create smaller social media ads out of that content.

‍Step 2: Start Rolling!

We started the project by hosting an interview day. We spent a few hours rearranging their studio and decorating the set with uplights, which are floor lights that project light upward, to set the eye-catching color tone in the background

With the set all prepared, we then sat down with each artist for around forty-five minutes and asked them a variety of questions about their history, their favorite tattoo styles, and their craziest tattoo stories.

For the few weeks following the interviews, we came by when each artist was working on a unique tattoo to film b-roll shots of everything that goes on in the studio, including them working, designing, and hanging out as a team to set prospective customer expectations. 

Step 3: See Results!

The first finished product we were able to deliver to their team was the brand video. They were stunned at the quality of the video and loved how it came out!

Finally, we wrapped up the project by creating a short Instagram reel used for digital advertising.
